Gringo Cardia is a designer, visual artist, scenographer, architect and director of art, video, opera and fashion shows. He has created more than 150 shows for Brazil’s greatest artists as well as with internationally renowned companies such as Cirque Du Soleil. In addition to being curator for several museums in Brazil, he has designed the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum in Geneva (Switzerland) and worked as a collaborator with Brazilian social arts organizations such as Afroreggae and Cufa for more than ten years. In partnership with Instituto Desiderata he also created the Aquário Carioca, a special architecture and scenography project to redesign childhood cancer treatment rooms at public hospitals in Rio de Janeiro. Gringo is a co founder and director of Spectaculu.
